Richard Rosewell

Over the years, Richard has been an antiques course instructor, a radio phone-in show host and an appraiser for the Canadian Antiques Road Show. He and his wife own Mildred’s Antiques & Memorabilia in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. 

Richard is well known in the antique world and he is a regular at antique road shows and fairs.Areas of expertise include: pottery and porcelain, glassware, furniture and silver.

Tony Duke is an antiques expert and has been a regular on the Canadian Antiques Road show since 2004. He owns and operates “Tony Duke Appraisals” located in Fanny Bay, BC. His professional service includes formal and informal appraisals of antiques, collectibles and personal property.

Beth has been a crusader for the promotion of the antique trade on Vancouver Island through her website “Van Isle Antiques”. She was the first dealer to integrate social networking and has included the rest of us in her business model.

Luis Porretta


Luis Porretta is a licensed appraiser with over thirty years experience in the antiques and art industry. Training under Elizabeth Jennings at Sotheby's before striking out into the private sector, he has owned antique stores in both the UK and Ireland and founded art societies and Galleries in Medway, UK and County Cork in Ireland. 

Mr. Porretta appeared on the Irish Antiques Road show. Luis Porretta trained in art restoration techniques at the British Museum and has worked for galleries and museums internationally. Though having a wide field of knowledge in general antiques, Mr. Porretta specializes in books, engravings, maps, paintings, and early glass, indeed he has written articles for the "Antique Collectors Magazine" about collecting Georgian Glass.

Jamie has a passion for collecting B.C antiques & historical objects. He is an Accredited Personal Property Appraiser with the CPPAG specializing in Postal History, Antiques, Transportation, Oil/Gas & Ephemera, Photographical and Postcards.

He was instrumental in starting the Zonta International Road show and the much acclaimed Vancouver Island Collectors Show in Nanaimo, and participates in many Charity Road show affairs
